The church of Santo Ildefonso is in the Praça da Batalha , in the Baixa of Porto .
Built between 1724 and 1730 at the site of a former chapel, is being accessed via a staircase.
The facade decorated with tile panels made in 1932 by Jorge Colaçao is flanked by two bell towers.
The interior has a single nave and high altar is an altarpiece attributed to Nasoni .
